Optimization of extended warranty cost for multi-component systems with economic dependence based on group maintenance

During extended warranty (EW) period, maintenance events play a key role in controlling the product systems within normal operations. However, modelling of failure process and optimization is complicated owing to complex features system, namely, components multi-component system are interdependent with each other some form. For purpose optimizing EW pricing decision scientifically rationally, taking series economic dependence sold policy as research object, this paper optimizes imperfect preventive (PM) strategy from standpoint cost. Taking into consideration adjusting PM moments group model developed, which repaired preventively accordance specified base interval. In order compare cost before maintenance, developed. Numerical example demonstrates that offering programs can reduce great extent, thereby reducing price, proves be win-win manufacturers users.
